The theme for the month of April was ‘New Year Celebrations’. To mark the beginning of our New Year and the importance of our traditions was the main focus of activities conducted during the sessions.
Session 1 – Chaitrangan Rangoli
Children were introduced to the symbols that depict nature such as moon, sun, star, and signs such as cow feet (gopadma), swastik, flag, etc. They initially drew them in their drawing books and then used rangoli using pincher grip and later used moulds. They thoroughly enjoyed the activity. The theme for the month of May was ‘Summer activities’. Children were given an experience of a variety of activities that are usually enjoyed by children in summer.
