Health is Wealth – February 25

Session 1 – Physical activities of strength

Children were engaged in playing tug of war and claw fight in this session. This lead them to a
discussion about why the team won and the importance of building strength.

Session 2 – Healthy recipes

Children engaged in making sprout salad and veggie wraps understanding the importance of the
ingredients and the role of healthy eating in building strength and healthy life.

Session 3 – Yoga and Meditation

Children were taught Yogic breathing and few yoga postures. They were briefed about the
benefits of doing Yoga every day.

Session 4 – Healthy Shopping experience

Children experienced healthy shopping with the help of pictures. Children were provided a picture
of a shopping cart where they had to paste the shopped item from the pictures given keeping in
mind that they had to select healthy food.
