Session 1 –Nature Hunt
Children went on a free exploration of a variety of leaves in their vicinity. They collected and classified the collection using various attributes such as shape, size, color, appearance, etc
Session 2 –Leaf bookmarks
Children learnt 2 different tyes of leaf embossing to make attractive bookmarks.
Session 3 –Cooking with Leaves
Childers not only enjoyed making the recipes but also enjoyed eating them. They keenly observed each of the steps shown and were able to recollect the procedure of making the recipes
Session 4 -Gods and their Favorite leaves
Children recollected the names of Gods they worship. They were able to relate leaves to each of the Gods. They were given information about the medicinal use of these plants.
Session 5 - Leaf Toran and Rangoli
Children learnt simple leaf torans that looked attractive. They also used a variety of leaves to create patterns in rangolis.
