Sun-dried recipes – April 24

Session 1 – Potato shavings

Children got an opportunity to make a healthy snack of their own that could be preserved year
long with the help of sunlight. They learned how Sun’s energy is important and has been
traditionally brought into use by our earlier generations.

Session 2 – Sago Chips

Apart from making this Sun dried snack item children learnt mixing of colours while doing this
activity.

Session 3– Multigrain bites

Importance of healthy protein based sun dried recipe was made by children during this session
using pulses and legumes.

Session 4– Udid papad making

Children got to see how papads are made at home and sun dried and they are made in the most
healthy and hygienic way at home.
