Session 1 – Farm Visit
Children had a walk in an organic vegetable farm. They were excited to see the vegetables they eat, growing in the farm. They discussed the attributes of Mother Nature such as Patience, Perseverance, Respect, Tolerance, and more.
Session 2 – Eco Systems
Children learnt the attribute of interconnectedness and interdependence of various things in nature. The sense of respect, compassion, resilience and nurturing were discussed with children.
Session 3 – Life Cycles
Attributes such as growth, patience, acceptance, responsibilities were discussed with children.
They put together pictures of life cycles of some plants and animals.
Session 4 – Respect Mother Nature
With simple examples of day to day life wants and needs were discussed with children. Anything
accumulated more than needed is greed and is not good in any way. This is harming Mother
Nature and in return we are already facing adverse conditions with respect to weather, water, rain
etc.
